  1. What is the Studio Series tile?
    The Studio Series tiles are individually hand cast. They are available in a selection of colors, sizes, shapes and surface textures. The Studio Series tiles are approximately 5/8" thick.
  2. How can these tiles be used?
    Tiles can be used for wall surfaces, diffusing windows, kitchen back splashes, room dividers, railings, moldings, furniture accents, sidelights, and architectural details to name a few examples.
  3. Can These tiles be used in place of ceramic or with
    ceramic tiles?

    Yes, Architectural Glass tiles are sized to be compatible with standard ceramic tiles. They are also specified, packaged, handled and installed like any similar ceramic product. However we recommend to stay away from floor use in heavy traffic areas.
  4. How are the tiles installed?
    The Studio Series tiles can be assembled into panels, which are handled and installed more like a single piece of glass. For cutting the Studio Series tiles a good quality wet saw with a diamond blade should be used. For more detailed information please refer to our Installation page.
  5. How fragile are glass tiles?
    These tiles are similar to ceramic such that if dropped they may break. Once installed they are very durable. Tiles are nonporous making them resistant to chemicals and staining. With regards to scratch resistance, glass is generally harder than marble but softer than granite.
  6. Can these tiles be used on the floor?
    No, we do not recommend the use of our tiles on the floor in heavy traffic areas.
  7. What is the cost per square foot?
